Moong Palak Chila(Green Gram And Spinach Pancake)
Green gram is said to be a protein rich,fibre rich and easy to digest legume.I love its quick cooking property.That is why best suited for breakfast options.This chilaas made with overnight soaked and grounded moong dal and Spinach(rich in iron).This savoury breakfast will certainly boost up your day with energy and no guilt of having it much as its all filled with nutrients.
Moong dal is best for pregnant ladies ,kid sand toddlers so it can be a good option for that”chhoti bhukh”.
Green Gram Moon Dal 200 Gms(Overnight soaked and grounded)
Rice flour 150 Gms
Spinach 100 gms(Finely chopped)
Green chillies 3-4
Garlic cloves 5-6
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Curd 2 Tablespoon
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
1.Blend Moong dal,green chillis,garlic,Cumin seeds in a blender .
2.Add rice flour,salt and finely chopped spinach to the batter and mix well.
3.Heat a nonstick frying pan and Spread one big spoonful of batter onto the pan to make small round pancake.
4.Add little oil on the sides of pancake and let both the sides cook till it becomes crisp and golden brown.
5.Serve the chillas with mint chutney or curd.
