Made this kairi ki kadhi with raw mangoes I had frozen in my refrigerator and it confronted as a superb delicious new addition to my all favourite long list of kairi dishes.
I got inherited this recipe from my sweet mom (I must say most of recipes are originated from my mom only) and with lot of praises of my dear hubby I had to make this kairi ki kadhi almost every week in last month.You may simply enjoy this kadhi for 4-5 days if refrigerated.
Believe me it’s a super delicious hot n sour soup for these rainy days too.
Do try green mango salsa
Here goes the recipe.
Pulp of boiled raw mangoes 1 cup
Gram flour(Besan) 2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds, mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds 1 /2 teaspoon each
Curry leaves 5-6
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Dried red chili 2
Salt as per taste
Sugar 3 Tablespoon
Oil 1 tablespoon
Water 2 cups
1.Mix the pulp of raw mangoes with besan thoroughly so that there wont be any lumps and keep aside.
2.Heat oil in pan and temper it with Cumin seeds, mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds and Curry leaves .
3.Add red chillies and once it get fried add mixture of mango pulp and besan.
4.Add turmeric powder,salt,and sugar and mix well.
5.Add water and make kadhi to boil for 5 mins or till its gains smooth consistency.
6.Put off the flame and serve hot.
