A simple, refreshing and quick salsa. With few ingredients and blast of taste.
Generally mango salsa is made with ripe mangoes..But I, an ardent lover of kairi (green mangoes) couldn’t resist myself to try this version of salsa with green mangoes.
This salsa recipe can have number of variations with the change or addition of one or two ingredients. Like you may add mayonnaise, honey or orange juice to enhance its taste to another level.
Green Mangoes peeled and cut into small pieces 1 cup
Cayenne pepper 1 tsp
Onions finely chopped 2 tbsp
Carrots finely chopped 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped 1tb
Olive oil 2tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Mint leaves dried and crushed 1tsp
Salt as per taste
1. Add all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and give a nice stir.
2. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.
