Super moist Chocolate cake in a Mug …Solace in a mug indeed.
super quick, super moist, super fluffy, super tasty Chocolate cake in a Mug .This is not the first time I am baking my cake in a mug..its just the first time I am putting it on my blog.
You might have seen so many mug cake recipes on the internet which are like “3 min mug cake in a microwave”.I don’t use microwave when it comes to my baby’s food.I don’t have microwave at my home and am not in a mood of buying one.Seeing its long term side effects ,till now I am able manage without microwave.No microwave Chocolate cake in a mug.
The cake I am baking in a mug in my own very conventional oven.Though it takes more time to bake compared to microwave,I am happy with the final product.it yields very moist and decadent cake in a mug served with any icecream.
I always go for these mug cakes to serve to my baby as a after school food.Most of the time this after school food is a dessert for my biggest dessert lover darling.
Did I tell you it’s a whole wheat flour I used in baking?Yeah..after all its my daughter’s food so big no to maida or all purpose flour.You may simply replace butter with olive oil to make it butterless chocolate cake.
Whole wheat flour 3 tbsp
Baking powder ¼ tsp
Baking soda a pinch
Coco powder 1tsp
Butter softened 1tbsp
Salt a pinch
Powdered sugar 11/2 tbsp
Milk full fat 3 tbsp
1.Assemble the ingredients and put in mug.
2.Whisk well to have a smooth paste.
3.Bake in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 mins at 180 degree C.
4.Let it cool and enjoy.
